Eustache Zigashane is a research assistant and a Ph.D. Student in the Organizational, Political and Economic section of Texas A&M University's Sociology Department. His research interests are conflict and development nexus, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and political and economic sociology.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT & Ph.D. STUDENT

Eustache is a Ph.D. student in the Organizational, Political and Economic Sociology section of the Department of Sociology at Texas A&M University. He is working as a Research Assistant in the Center on Conflict and Development and with Dr. Harland Prechel in the Sociology Department.    

Eustache recently completed a two-year conflict management project in the Bas-Uele province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he was responsible for developing and overseeing the timely and effective implementation of activities. In partnership with ConDev and TheCongo Peace Center, the Stabilization Reconstruction Plan for the Eastern Congo (STAREC) and the World Bank/Social Fund of the DR. Congo (FSRDC), Eustache constructed a detailed mapping to provide a basis for a conflict management and peace plan for the Bas-Uele province. His research interests are conflict and development nexus, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and political and economic sociology.  

Eustache was invited to offer a presentation at the Southwestern Social Science Association 2022 Centennial Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
